New Look for Electronic Gaming Monthly Largest game-magazine publisher promises growth for flagship publication
The Ziff Davis Media Game Group (publishers of the E3 Show Daily) rolls out its new look for Electronic Gaming Monthly with the June 2003 issue, available at the Ziff Davis booth here at E3. The company also announced recently that it is increasing the rate base for Electronic Gaming Monthly from its present 500,000 to 600,000 in September 2003, in response to strong consumer demand. The magazine's circulation soared by more than 26 percent during the last year, consistently over-delivering on its rate base of 500,000. By September of 2003, EGM will reach a paid circulation of 600,000, making it the single largest independent console-gaming publication in the industry.
"We're proud that our flagship magazine is once again raising the bar in the industry," said Game Group Publisher Lee Uniacke. "All the credit is due to EGM's editorial staff, who consistently connect with and attract new readers every month with the humor, insight, and knowledge that pack each and every issue."
