Logitech Races to Grab NASCAR License
INew deal, new wheel, and new wireless Icontrollers from Logitech

Logitech has cemented its role as the official maker of NASCAR-branded wheels for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox game systems. This, in addition to the company's production of the official Gran Turismo 4 controller, the Driving Force Pro wheel, sets Logitech up as the virtual pace car for peripherals.

Visit Logitech's booth for a look at the latest entries in the wireless controller space: the Cordless Action Controller for PlayStation 2 and the Cordless Precision Controller for Xbox. Both operate at a 2.4GHz frequency and transmit from as far as 30 feet away from a receiver. They run for up to 100 hours on just two AA batteries--and that's with the vibration function turned on. In addition, both controllers are lighter and less expensive than last year's models.

The PlayStation 2 unit will retail for $39.99; the Xbox controller will cost $49.99.
