With the huge global success of the Dragon Ball Z brand, Atari expects a blowout E3 with two new fighting titles set in the DBZ world. Taking the characters into uncharted realms of hardcore action for PlayStation 2 is Super DBZ. Developed by the team behind Street Fighter II arcade, the 3D beat ‘em up promises a more intense Dragon Ball Z fighting experience than ever before. An all-new fighting system will ensure more super-fast combos are available, with unique moves for each of the 13 characters.

Taking a different perspective is Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2. Available on PlayStation 2, it mixes role playing mechanics into the action gameplay, and provides you with over 100 DBZ warriors from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball GT. Making use of the explosive areas in the environment remains a key step for victory, while in-game transformations are included for the first time in the Budokai: Tenkaichi world.
