Together for Good
Gaming industry unites to raise money for children's organizations

Once again, gaming industry leaders are coming together to help children at the Entertainment Software Association's annual Nite to Unite--for Kids fundraiser.

In 2003, Nite to Unite honored President & CEO of Electronics Boutique Holdings Corp., Mr. Jeff Griffiths. Co-chaired by Laurent Detoc, president of Ubisoft Entertainment Inc.; Rob Dyer, president of Eidos Interactive; and Jacqualee Story, executive vice president of business affairs of Nintendo of America Inc., the event raised over $920,000. Benefiting charities included the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Web Wise Kids, WAVE, and Starlight and Starbright.

This year's black-tie event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2004 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, California. Jeff Lapin, CEO of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.; Geoffrey H. Mulligan, COO of Konami Digital Entertainment-America; and Larry Probst, chairman & CEO of Electronic Arts will host as co-chairs. Once again, attendees will be treated to gourmet edibles and a silent auction.
